This ring is created by melting a small amount of recycled 9ct gold (roughly 0.4-0.5g) and pouring it into water while it is still molten. This is known as water casting and creates a small organically shaped bead of gold. This process means every nugget of gold will be one of a kind, the photos show three different rings to give you an idea of the range of shapes that are created during this process.

This solid 9ct gold nugget is then fused on top of a 2mm wide Argentium silver band. Argentium Silver is a higher grade of silver than traditional sterling silver, offering much better tarnish resistance as well as being harder and more durable. Argentium silver is an alloy containing 93.5% fine silver (1% higher silver content than standard sterling silver). Argentium silver is also made of 100% recycled metal.

The ring is then polished inside and out, while great care is taken not to polish out any of the details of the water cast gold nugget. This design looks great on its own or it can be stacked with other rings. The inside of the ring is then stamped '935', which denotes its higher silver content than standard 925 sterling silver as well as a '9ct' stamp for the gold nugget. Please note due to the weight of the gold content on this ring it does not require hallmarking.

Please double check your ring size online before ordering, we sell an adjustable ring sizer in our shop.
